Yukawa's physics formulas in "Galileo 2" episode 1

This is a entry about Japanese TV drama "Galileo 2" in 2013. In this drama

on Fuji TV, a physical genius Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama) write

various formulas very quickly. In this entry, I introduce and explain some of

the formulas or equations. But I'm not good at English, sorry.

This is the very short English summary of my Japanese entry about

episode 1 "madowasu" (dazzling). The original Japanese version is

this article.  (← click)

         ☆ ☆ ☆

Yukawa's first formula is about the effect of the microwave weapon to

the human body (for example).

  D : Depth of penetration (Half-power depth)

  f : frequency

  εr : relative permittivity

  tanδ : dielectric loss factor

         ☆ ☆ ☆

Yukawa's second formula is the equation that explain the relation of

the microwave power P and the electric field E. P is the power absorbed

by the dielectric, and K is the constant (0.556×1/10000000000).

Yukawa's third & forth formula are unclear, and I still cannot understand

the meaning.

        ☆ ☆ ☆

Lastly, Yukawa's report "Hypothesis of Sonen (faith cure)" is as follows

(only first two). These are Maxwell's equations.

130628c

∇ : nabla (vector differential operator)

× : sign of cross product

  H : magnetizing field

  σ : conductivity

  D : electric displacement field

  ε : permittivity

  B : magnetic field

That's all for today, thank you. See you later.
